Pagesix – Whoopi Goldberg and Meghan McCain got into a spat following a segment on the impeachment hearings. “Girl! Please stop talking! Please stop talking right now!” Goldberg admonished McCain when she tried to segue to a commercial.
The panel argued Monday about lawmakers’ treatment of the impeachment process, and as McCain, Goldberg and co-host Sunny Hostin all spoke at the same time the spat broke out. OMG, it’s like its the first time this “over talk” ever happens? Here is the testy exchange and a brief video:
McCain poutily shot back: “No problem. I won’t talk for the rest of the show.”
Goldberg responded, “I’m OK with that if you’re going to behave like this.”

After the exchange, the women still had to get through a full hour of the show. “Everybody wants to have a good conversation. They don’t want to go to commercial exasperated,” an insider told us. “Producers did come out and prep them for the next segment and explained, ‘We still have more show to do.’ One of the producers specifically talked to Meghan.”
Does anyone care what happens on “The View?” Meghan McCain, often labeled a never Trumper isn’t exactly someone to defend. Meghan McCain says she has a hard time calling herself a Republican as long as Donald Trump is in the White House. However, “The View” co-host and daughter of the late Sen. John McCain stresses that doesn’t mean she’s abandoned conservatism.
“The View” has four co-hosts on its show. Three are leftists. The fouth, Meghan McCain, who can’t quite say if she is Republican or conservative. In any case, even the “dubious” conservative can’t get a word in edgewise, which just shows how the media is biased against conservatives. Perhaps this was all staged for clickbait for “The View.” Or Meghan McCain is in it for the money.
We know that conservative bias is extensive in media. Whenever a conservative gets the “mic” we will often be behind the 8-ball in a media staged venue. The goal would be to favor venues that are more fair and balanced in terms of “mic” time. But this can not always be the case. In the case, where we are not in a fair and balanced venue – we need to be prepared. Venues can be online or out and about in our neighborhoods. Here are a few pointers:
- Don’t make a negative YouTube or social media moment – saying something that people can twist to make you and conservatives look bad.
- Don’t be afraid not to speak on topics that you are not familiar with.
- Research topics (have reference links available) to be able to speak with data.
- Practice responding in headline form or an elevator speech on topics – no long-winded rants (these rants have a negative impact)
- Be on good behavior and be the adult in the room.
- Always respect ToS of the social media platforms – or you get banned and your voice gets silenced and you become irrelevant.
These are just a few, but please do put more pointers in the comment section of this post. But don’t be afraid and do engage – we are in a fight for our country.
