New York Post – The New York Police Department (NYPD) said it found no criminality by Shake Shack workers in connection with the hospitalization of three officers who drank milkshakes they believe may have been spiked with bleach, a police official said Tuesday.
“After a thorough investigation by the NYPD’s Manhattan South investigators, it has been determined that there was no criminality by shake shack’s employees,” Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison said in a tweet early Tuesday. Police sources said the case had been deemed unintentional after it appeared that whatever cleaning solution was used on the shake machine wasn’t rinsed off enough. The cops immediately noticed a funny taste when they sipped the drinks from the chain’s location on Broadway near Fulton Street shortly after 9 p.m. Monday.

The Police Benevolent Association (PBA) said in a warning letter to police officers earlier that the incident was “yet another serious safety issue.” PBA president Patrick Lynch wrote that several officers who had been assigned to a protest detail stopped at the Shake Shack. “At some point during their meal period, the (officers) discovered that a toxic substance, believed to be bleach, had been placed in their beverages.” The officers were taken to Bellevue Hospital, where they were treated and released. A shake sample was taken to a lab for testing. See the Shake Shack response:
We are horrified by the reports of police officers injured at our 200 Broadway Shack in Manhattan. We are working with the police in their investigation right now.

Let’s think this through a little bit. What are the possibilities?
- As being reported, Shake Shack employees just finished the cleaning of the machine at 9 p.m. in the height of the evening rush of the city that never sleeps (why not in the morning or at night closing times?). The police officers were the first to use the newly cleansed machine, AND it would only affect the first 3 people after the cleaning. There are no other reports of others becoming sick.
- The police officers initiated a hoax, though quite dubious, since they would have to risk their own lives by ingesting bleach for the hoax.
- The NYPD is covering up the incident to stop further poor police protester/rioters relationships.
- Are there others?
The response from PBA:
#BREAKING When NYC police officers cannot even take meal without coming under attack, it is clear that environment in which we work has deteriorated to a critical level. We cannot afford to let our guard down for even a moment. pic.twitter.com/fbMMDOKqbV

So what is the truth? Does the official story make sense? Police departments are coming under increasing attacks as “woke” nefarious political actors try to take America down. Good citizens need to stay on top of these stories and ensure the truth be told – our Republic depends on it in these trying times. Right Wire Report will report further if more evidence becomes available – don’t hold your breath.
Update 22.06.2020: TMZ – NYPD brass reportedly cooked up a story about officers getting poisoned at Shake Shack … because the trio of cops who complained about a funny taste in their milkshakes never even got sick. NYPD Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison finally tweeted 8 hours after the alleged incident there was “no criminality” and it was all much ado about nothing.
Right Wire Report suggests that If it fact this was a hoax further investigations and possibly prosecutions are warranted. If not forthcoming, it calls into question the updated report.
