By now, most of you know the drill. The legacy media has no credibility and works as members of the “Amico Nostro” for the Democrat Party and the Deep State to deceive and influence the public’s perceptions. Today’s offerings from the Fratellanza come from The Associated Press “reporters,” Richard Lardmer and Michelle R. Smith, in a little Fugazi entitled, “Records: Trump’s Allies Behind Rally. That Ignited Capitol Riots.“
The Associated Press (AP) has a long history of choosing language designed to favor the left and malign the right. Look no further than the ” AP stylebook.”
New York Post: Published by The Associated Press, the Stylebook has since its first edition came out in 1953. It became the leading authority on grammar and style by reporters and editors as well as a corporate-communication reference guide. Its updates about how to use words have even more influence on the way Americans speak and write than dictionaries.
America’s most influential media stylebook is discouraging the nation’s newspapers from reporting on mass urban violence, on the grounds that writing about what’s happening is “stigmatizing.” That’s right: The Associated Press Stylebook, whose standards are followed by countless outlets, last week announced new guidelines around reporting on riots.
Here is an example in a past of a Michelle R. Smith headline on nominee Barrett: “High court nominee serves as “handmaid” in a religious group.”
Lardmer and Smith’s disinformation flow on Trump’s rally is designed to lead the reader to believe President Trump paid campaign operatives to organize large groups to protest on the sixth in DC, and participants were not “grassroots” level Americans who support the president. The piece proceeds to play six degrees of separation. It begins doxing those who have any association with the MAGA movement who organized over the last 4 years, Trump’s 2020 campaign paid staff, and Trump’s tightly-knit inner circle. The inference is glaring on the page that the organizers of the rally intended to provoke attendees to violently “overthrow the government.” Absurd on its face.
The “reporters” assert President Trump, those rally organizers, and attendees were encouraging subversion of our government by amassing to politically pressure “weak Republicans” to exercise their constitutional duty to object when warranted to certain state electoral counts. This false premise belies the truth. It is a well-established constitutional precedent that during the Joint Session held for certifying the Electoral College counts, any lawmaker may object. If a proper procedural Senate signee is present, a full debate on the matter shall commence in each chamber. Did the AP declare the dozen or so Democrats who objected to Trump’s 2016 counts in certain states when they met on Jan. 6th, 2017, an attempt to subvert or overthrow a government? What about in 2005 when Senator Boxer and Congresswoman Tubbs objected to Ohio’s count?
You bet your sweet derriere they didn’t, nor did they hype articles assigning elected officials as insurrectionists for objecting either!
Again it is a straw man that Trump questioning the legitimacy of the election outcome is somehow uniquely treasonous or unlawful. There have been other times in American history that incumbent presidents have challenged results. The most recent was Bush/Gore. Or that there has been any transparent investigation to the considerable amount of alleged evidence to date which would debunk such a concern. As well as the claim, no American would be feeling something was not accurate about the 2020 election if not for Trump “lying to them.”
The level of contempt and disdain for Americans on display throughout this ordeal is stunning. Newsflash AP, we can think for ourselves and form perceptions after due diligence of information available. Polling overwhelming reveals 75 million-plus Americans question the last election’s integrity and have every right to demand a complete accounting and transparent investigation. This right, exercised peacefully, is not insurrection. And while it discomforts you so – 99% of all attendees at the rally on that day were peacefully gathered to redress their government.
Huge: “How likely is it that Democrats stole votes or destroyed pro-Trump ballots in several states to ensure that Biden would win?”
— Rasmussen Reports (@Rasmussen_Poll) November 20, 2020
The facts are the President did not incite any violence in his speech and used the specific instructions: “Peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.” You can access the transcript and more information here. Now we know that the FBI was aware of a pre-planned violent event for the 6th and that this behavior started on the Capitol steps before Trump even ended his speech. “How could Trump incite an attack that had already been pre-planned and was in motion before his speech ended?” Finally, Trump did give a speech to the nation during the riot on Twitter telling supporters to go home and leave the capitol condemning the violence. He followed the next day with an address to the nation.
Let us now look at how the AP characterizes Trump’s statement on weakness and then look at it in context.
AP states, “The riot at the Capitol, incited by Trump’s comments before and during his speech at the Ellipse, has led to a reckoning unprecedented in American history. The president told the crowd to march to the Capitol and that “you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength, and you have to be strong.”
The following is President Trump’s actual excerpt – see the full transcript:
“We’re going to walk down. Anyone you want, but I think right here, we’re going to walk down to the Capitol-And we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard. So we are going to–we are going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, I love Pennsylvania Avenue, and we are going to the Capitol, and we are going to try and give–the Democrats are hopeless, they are never voting for anything, not even one vote but we are going to try–give our Republicans, the weak ones because the strong ones don’t need any of our help, we’re try–going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country. So let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue.
I want to thank you all. God bless you, and God bless America. Thank you all for being here. This is incredible.”
Context matters, and Trump was not ambiguous in the least. He was referencing primary election threats to Republicans who did not stand up for their voter’s demands to have a full and fair transparent investigation into alleged voter fraud and to have their voices heard outside the Capitol, imploring they delay certification of the contested states in question until that review took place. I wonder if the AP would be so obtuse when applying meaning to Biden’s campaign slogan, which interchangeably used the words fight and battle, “Fight for the soul of America?”
The AP wrote glowing reports and championed the cause of Democrat supporters who stormed the Capitol and Supreme Court steps during the Kavanaugh hearings and failed to call the BLM /Antifa/Democrat supporters who violently injured over sixty Secret Service agents, as they breached the White House security and set fire to a historic church, resulting in the President of the United States having to seek protection from a mob threat in the “Bunker.” How odd no phrases described either event as a “reckoning unprecedented in American history.”
As mentioned above, the witch hunt, outing, and social media scrubbing attempts are eerie. Consider no such connect -the -dots game is played when reporting on organizations who obtained permits for other protests; the Women’s March, Resist Trump, BLM, Amnesty, Pro- Immigration, Pro-choice, Anti Trump SCOTUS picks, and so forth at the US Capitol. There has never been a behind the scenes funding tree exposed to Democrat donor mechanisms or corporate sponsorships such as Organizing for America, The Open Society Institute, Justice Democrats, Democracy Alliance, CAIR, Disney, Nike, NFL, Google, Apple, Amazon, and the list goes on for any of the left political movements. Dare we point out that “those” movements were elevated with writer’s praise and denoting of a credible and noble purpose.
Lardmer and Smith state:
“The AP reviewed social media posts, voter registrations, court files, and other public records for more than 120 people either facing criminal charges related to the Jan. 6 unrest or who, going maskless during the pandemic, were later identified through photographs and videos taken during the melee. The review found the crowd was overwhelmingly made up of longtime Trump supporters, including Republican Party officials, GOP political donors, far-right militants, white supremacists, off-duty police, members of the military, and adherents of the QAnon myth that the government is secretly controlled by a cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophile cannibals.”
The AP would never author this paragraph:
“The AP reviewed social media posts, voter registrations, court files, and other public records for more than 120 people either facing criminal charges related to the George Floyd riots or who, going maskless during the pandemic, were later identified through photographs and videos taken during the melee.
The review found the crowd was overwhelmingly made up of Obama/Clinton/Sanders supporters, including Democrat Party officials, DNC political donors, far-left militants, Antifa, BLM, Anti-white privilege bigots, Democrat Mayors, and City council members, defund the police advocates, adherents of the Anti-capitalist movement, who promote socialism and La Raza who demand the taking back of lands stolen from Mexico.”
- Lawful rally with millions peacefully redressing their government with no involvement with violence at Capitol.
- President Trump made no speech inciting violence – period.
- Those who legally obtained a permit and organized the event were Trump supporters who have formed organizations to promote the MAGA movement, and some of those were at times connected to the campaign directly, so what?
- Americans have the right to demand election integrity.
- There are credible allegations of fraud that no court has allowed any discovery to date.
- Lawmakers can and have in the past asserted the constitutional right to object count.
- Violence at the Capitol was pre-planned per FBI and started before Trump ended his speech.
- Some arrested are not Trump supporters and were clothed to appear as MAGA and “Q” supporters.
- Some, not all, who were Trump supporters were allowed to enter on the Capitol police side and did not break into the building.
- The media and Democrats have willfully lied to the American people.
The Associated Press is but one in the “Familia” of propagandists, and sadly nothing seems to be in the way to stem the tide of The Ministry of Truth – now there lies the true enemy of the state.
