Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell may have just shown his truest colors yet as he addressed the floor, claiming that “The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people.” See Mitch in action below:

First off, the 75 million Americans that voted for Trump are not part of “the mob.” We are finding out as time goes by, more and more we are beginning to see that many of the people that stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, are not Trump supporters at all – see here. The “lies?” Is Senator McConnell living in his basement, or is spinning lies himself? We have already posted extensive information that McConnell knows that are NOT lies – see here and here.
The latest Gaslight from the mainstream media is the approval polls that are being reported.
Gallup – As President Donald Trump prepares to leave the White House, 34% of Americans approve of the job he is doing as president, the worst evaluation of his presidency. The 34% job approval rating for Trump in Gallup’s Jan. 4-15 poll is one point lower than his prior lowest single rating, registered on several occasions in late 2017. See Gallup’s report below:
However, the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for January 19, 2021, shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. See Rasmussen’s report below:
It is clear that Gallup is spinning more of the narrative that Trump somehow is unhinged as he finishes his current term in office. Perhaps the Gallup and Rasmussen are skewed differently. However, this sudden down dip should be seen in the Rasmussen report – at least on a delta basis.
President Donald Trump is leaving office with a higher approval rating and the Republican Party on better footing than after President George W. Bush exited the office in 2009 when the younger Bush saw historically low ratings. Even the Lefty “The Hill” publication said in a new poll, that found that 43 percent of voters gave Trump a positive job approval rating, a result consistent with polling as recently as just before the November election. The Trump approval rating is relatively unchanged in wake of Capitol rioting according to this same NBC News poll.
Bottom line – Trump polls have not changed, giving rise to the idea that Left-wing propaganda spewed by many mainstream media outlets is not fooling anyone. As they continue to lie to the American people, it surely will not end well. As many rank and file members of the GOP hear stories like this, the frustration grows along with the support for Donald Trump.
And the lies just continue. Here are the latest lies with Speaker Nancy Pelosi spinning the continuing “Russia Russia Russia” Democrat conspiracy theory that we as a nation spent three years living through – resulting in a failed sham impeachment.
Senator McConnell is clearly ready to throw the 75 million voters that voted for Trump and the GOP under the bus for his own political benefit. It’s not the first time – click here. This does beg the question – why is the GOP doing this? More to follow on the Right Wire Report on this topic later. With friends like this, who needs enemies?
