Mature people think. Immature people just emote.
Dan Collins is a white man who is the father of a large multiracial family, eight of his children are white and five of his children are adopted and are black. Collins describes himself as the ” typical Main Street American. ” But, there is nothing typical about being a deep thinker in today’s America.
What has been on Dan’s mind of late is The Black Lives Matter Movement and the organization behind the movement. He is conflicted by the violence and rhetoric associated with the movement and has formulated some very specific questions he needs to be answered. His attempts to have these inquiries receive a response has been frustrating, to say the least. So above is a video where Dan respectively and thoughtfully addresses his concerns and lays out his confusion about just what the mission of BLM truly is.
The Right Wire Report applauds Dan Collin’s critical thinking skills and invites all to sit still and watch this man speak. But before you do engage your critical thinking skills and remember the following:
- Those hysterical reactions to claims of systemic racism are emotions, not reasoning.
- Those reflective apologies and self-loathing your skin color, as in white privilege, are virtue signaling, not causation.
- Those justifications for violence, bigotry, and hatred, in the name of “America’s original sin,” are perpetrating and ignorance, not conflict resolution.
