The one question every patriot asks me is how are “they” getting away with all this?
Followed by a litany of statements that are believed to be a shield from “them getting away with all of this.” These types of statements which I too once held to be true, but no more:
- We have checks and balances in how our government functions.
- People want the truth and once the facts are known they will result in consequences.
- There are people in our government who still have free agency.
- There are two political parties.
- Justice may be slow but it will always prevail.
Once upon a time, the level of DC Swamp corruption was camouflaged just below the surface, and the levers of pressure were insidious and ambiguous to the naked eye. The last few years and most recent events are evidence this notion no longer holds.
The blatant weaponizing of our Justice Department to seize unconstitutional opportunities into political opponent’s lives while executing unlawful surveillance and fishing expeditions in search of a crime – has frozen my hope and shook me to my core. Add to this the abandonment of the Supreme Court to uphold our liberties and well…It feels bleak – because it is.
This brings me to a thread written by Sundance over at the Conservative Treehouse blog. During the odd post-period from the election to Jan.6th certification by Congress, Sundance traveled to Washington DC to offer data collected and find a way to connect with Bill Barr’s incompetent team in the hopes of a breakthrough. In his journey, he writes about a startling encounter with a member within the swamp.
One cannot slay the enemy if one does not accept who the enemy truly is.
