Prince Harry and Father

Sunday Thoughts: Prince Harry Suffers “Genetic Pain” – Honoring Your Father and Mother

The renegade duke Prince Harry took his war with his family to a new level – as he claimed in a new interview that Prince Charles handed down a “cycle” of “genetic pain and suffering” to him, which he and his wife Meghan Markle moved to Los Angeles to break.

Harry wants to “break the cycle” within his family – after realizing that much of the way he was treated as a youngster resulted from how his own dad was raised by Queen Elizabeth II and the late Prince Philip. Listen more to his feelings on this recent podcast.

Harry went on to describe his life as a royal as “a mixture between ‘The Truman Show’ and being in a zoo.” As for his days of “wild partying” as a young man, Harry chalks it up to “childhood trauma,” admitting to having experimented with marijuana and excessive drinking in his 20s. So Harry did and still is living a life of privilege.

Sure, the idea of privileged monarchy families is problematic. But no one is stopping Harry from abdicating his royal position and giving away all his money if he really is disturbed by this. He can go off and live a faceless life in some far-off place. But he doesn’t, does he? Instead, he went to Hollywood. Harry wants to amplify his narcissistic self-loathing and self-destruction and infect others with his misguided ideology. Does it almost sound like racism against himself – white guilt? One would need to ask, if racism is in his heart, even though it is against oneself, would that same person be racists to others as well.

However, this is not the biggest issue with Harry’s behavior. In this rather shocking public statement – blame your parents and label them as “genetic pain.” This is not just bad parenting – but genetic! Imagine if your children said that about you if you are a parent? Harry apparently loathes his parents just for who they are – rubbing it in by sticking his middle finger at them.

We know that some of the Right Wire Report readers are not religious, but principles can still apply – even if they are from a Biblical text. Many believe that the 10 Commandments are some good principles to consider. Interestingly, a “God” would devote a single commandment out of 10 to societal organizational structure – so it must have been important to him. My thoughts turn to the 5th commandment:

Exodus 20:2-17: “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.”

The point here is that one is to honor your parents with NO qualifiers. This does not mean you need to agree with anything your parents say or does – one can still honor your parents accordingly. To disrespect their mere existence takes violation of this commandment to a new level.

Why is this important?

Families have been the core building block of society for thousands of years. Harry’s message is clear – destroy the family. Strong families build strong communities and the greater society. Harry apparently has little care in understanding this principle. Worse yet, Harry wants others to follow him in his delusional cultural suicide. For those who are not religious believers in Biblical texts, the principle still applies.

Darwin will eventually cull this behavior.

Born down on the farm in America's Midwest, my early life was spent climbing the ladder via a long career in information technology. Starting as a technician, and after earning a degree going to night school, I eventually found a place working at ATT Bell Laboratories as a software engineer.

Later moving into management and then a long stint in a major management consulting firm working with major banking, telecommunications, and retail companies. Working in various states in America, I also spent considerable time living and working in several European countries - currently expat in France. As a side career, I was heavily involved in real estate development and an avid futures trader. This experience can give one a unique view of the world.

The storm clouds of dark change are near. Today America is at a crossroads. Will it maintain its prowess as a national leader in the free modern advancing world, or will it backtrack in the abyss of the envy identity politics of tyrannical socialism, and the loss of individual freedoms. The 2020 election may have decided this. Join the Right Wire Report team and make a stand.

  1. I guess the apple don’t fall far from the tree! Charles did the same thing to his parents in a book. He even stated that the Queen Mother was more of a mother to him. LOL What goes around comes around. LOL I do respect HM The Queen! The others are all wrapped up in drama and its a circus. HM The Queen has lived by “Never complain and never explain”! IT worked for her for years. To bad the others did not learn from HM The Queen.
