Hong Kong police seize HK$8 million worth of cocaine, cannabis in Tai Po raid, arrest one

An HK$8 million (US$1.03 million) haul of cocaine and cannabis was seized in a raid in northern Hong Kong on Tuesday night that resulted in the arrest of a suspected trafficker.The 26-year-old jobless man was picked up outside a Kwong Fuk Road building in Tai Po at about 7pm, according to Senior Inspector Chan Chi-wa, who said police found two bricks of cocaine weighing 2.2kg in a plastic bag the suspect was allegedly carrying.The suspect was then escorted to his subdivided flat in the building…
