“White Accountability Groups?” This Propaganda Is The Breadcrumb That Leads a Culture to Genocide

The Washington Post is being criticized for a video it published in which ‘experts’ urge white people to make “white accountability groups.”

The outlet released a video Friday that is part of its podcast series called the New Normal with a segment titled “What is White racial identity and why is it important?” Fox News reported.

During the show, mental health experts and scholars weighed in on “why understanding your whiteness and the ways that white supremacy benefits you is an important part of becoming self aware,” the video’s YouTube caption read.

Professor and psychologist Rebecca Toporek told host Nicole Ellis, “White accountability groups are really helpful in terms of having a place to process, having a group of people whose responsibility it is to call me on things or to challenge me.”

However, crisis interventionist Kelsey Arias said, “The more you kind of dive into that, the more I’m really realizing how deeply rooted racism is to like my everyday thought process.”

“No matter how much you work that, there’s still even almost more work to be done,” she added.

Trauma therapist Ilyse Kennedy told Ellis, “We’re unpacking wrong things that we have been taught in history class. I realized that I needed to go back and unpack and reorganize everything that I had learned because it was completely through a white lens.”

“Most of us in doing this work have experienced this, where there’s a period of deep shame for being white and for acknowledging the harm that our ancestors have caused,” Kennedy stated.

Numerous people criticized the outlet’s video, and Twitter user Jesse Singal described it as a “very strange pseudoreligious movement that is likely to do more harm than good”:

“To fight my racism I should form a white accountability group, made up of other white people who call out my racism…? — So the cure to racism is further segregation. — I don’t see it working,” another user commented.

“Disgusting racism. Imagine thinking a person’s skin color means more than his or her individual humanity. Unbelievable,” yet another person replied.

Right Wire Report:

This video is a vile and destructive propaganda tool.

The first statement you hear on the video is emphatically attaching systemic racism to 1000s more like Floyd’s death. But there was no evidence presented at trial to indicate Floyd’s encounter with police, or subsequent overdose, or Chauvin’s actions was connected in any way to race or racial animus.

There was no hate crime charged.

The AG Keith Ellison made a public statement about Floyd’s death after the trial indicating no evidence has been presented to conclude this was a racially motivated act.

This kind of talk about shaming others and reprogramming the way they feel about themselves is cultish and highly dangerous. There is no mental health or scientific social benefit in it whatsoever. This is anti-white racism.

This is an evil agenda for power and control.

Those who traffic in and promote this depth of deprivation propaganda to manipulate and gaslight citizens against one another are culpable for outcomes.

This type of propaganda is the breadcrumb that leads a culture to genocide.

"The simple step of a courageous individual is to not take part in the lie. One word of truth outweighs the world." Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

I was born and raised in the enigma known as "The Big Easy." There, rooted along the banks of the great Mississippi River between the creeping bayou and Lake Pontchartrain, I was conscripted on all things pertaining to human nature.  I am the quintessential southern woman, that is to say, I defy most could never accurately define what that label truly represents.  Brined below sea level where one respects; the haunts lingering about, the force of storm surge, the ethos of Mardi Gras, and the sanctity of generational family-I know what it is to belong to an organically diverse culture.

Early on in life, my career path serpentined and led to brief stints of living varied experiences as I indulged my passions for painting, musical theater, and the culinary arts. My young experiences evolved my purpose and honed my intuitive skills and I became a Medical Professional specializing in mental health with a focus on child/adolescent needs. After living decades in NOLA, and after hurricane  Katrina unearthed the realities of modern-day inner cities, I made the pivotal decision to relocate to where my family and I spent our summers in a quest to find security and civility in my life.

High up on one of the "grandfather mountains" I now perch in a Smoky mountain community in East Tennessee. Although, I would not trade my formative years in Louisiana, unfortunately,  that era of  America  is  no longer obtainable in the times we live - changing course was the best decision "Evah!"

I am a warrior  for freedom and truth , steeped in my ancestral history ,I am constantly reminded that stillness and introspection expands the mind and heart to possess a more nuanced understanding of all things in our internal and external world. We are all destined to bash ourselves against the rotted cultural rocks of humanity's unraveling until we recognize that a shared moral tone is essential for a free society. A healthy culture is one comprised of many unique people who offer shading and depth to the experience of living, yet all choose to accept basic truths that bind us all together-a societal moral tone. Intolerance  , censorship, intersectionality, cancel culture, apathy ,and ignorance will only groom oppression and tyranny.  Critical thought, differentiation, and dissent is your individual right granted not by government -and must always be protected, championed, and defended.
