How many patients fall into each category of hospitalizations has been a topic of much speculation. Researchers from Harvard Medical School, Tufts Medical Center, and the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System decided to find out.
A study analyzed the electronic records for nearly 50,000 COVID hospital admissions at more than 100 VA hospitals across the country. Some key takeaways from this study.
“If you want to make sense of the number of COVID hospitalizations at any given time, you need to know how sick each patient actually is. Until now, that’s been almost impossible to suss out.”
So prior to this study all the reports about Covid hospitalizations are bogus?
“In other words, the study suggests that roughly half of all the hospitalized patients showing up on COVID-data dashboards in 2021 may have been admitted for another reason entirely, or had only a mild presentation of the disease.”
Half of all 2021 Covid hospitalizations were admitted for another reason or mild Covid? Do people realize this?
“But unvaccinated patients have also been showing up with less severe symptoms, on average, than earlier in the pandemic: The study found that 45 percent of their cases were mild or asymptomatic since January 21.”
The Biden Administration and the CDC are pushing the narrative ” The pandemic of the unvaccinated.” Biden himself just brutally attacked many of our nation’s citizens as “the other” and claimed patience has run out and he would not allow them to willfully harm other citizens. In this divisive assault on unity, Biden doubled down on the narrative that the reason so many are ill and infected was the selfishness and ignorance of those who chose to not be vaccinated. The claim is that over 90% of all new hospitalizations for Covid /Variances are among the unvaccinated. But is that true?
Factor this latest study in with the way the CDC counts hospitalized patients as unvaccinated even with two jabs on board, and many questions come into play.
So not much difference between vaccinated and unvaccinated?
