A special inspector appointed by Hong Kong’s government will seize Next Digital Limited’s financial records in its investigation of the parent of the now-defunct Apple Daily newspaper, according to a source familiar with the matter.The search and seizure by the inspector, Clement Chan Kam-wing, is authorised by a warrant issued yesterday by Hong Kong’s Eastern Magistrate Court, according to the source.
