January 6 House select committee holds surprise public hearing to “present recently obtained evidence”

The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol will hold a last-minute hearing Tuesday to “present recently obtained evidence and receive witness testimony.” Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson is set to testify.
