Suspected Chinese spy balloon shot down off Carolina coast

Officials had initially advised against shooting down the balloon because falling debris could cause risk to people on the ground.

  1. They can try and tout this as Xiben doing his job but this is FAIL on him, his advisors and their whole team.
    Why did this get into our airspace, are the radars covering the west coast inoperable ? Are the technicians trained to recognize a threat, were they awake ?
    What if this had a destructive device on board ?
    These incompetent idiots let it cross the country before doing anything and we are supposed to be impressed ??? Nope not in the least
